Our History

Originally named Matco Packaging, MPI Matco was founded in 1991 in Montreal as a supplier of general packaging materials. Since then, we have expanded as an adhesive solutions specialist for industrial markets, offering highly technical pressure-sensitive tapes and structural adhesives. Over the years, we have understood the need to be involved on a deeper level, which led to the addition of a state-of-the-art laboratory that allows us to do testing and research for our customers.

Our product line consists of three main categories:

Pressure Sensitive Tapes
PTFE Teflon Products
Adhesives and Sealants

However, we are also pleased to offer customized solutions to meet the specific needs of our clients. Our specialized converting equipment allows us to take a standard product and convert it into a customized solution. Slitting, die-cutting, spooling and printing services are available in order to respond to our clients’ specific application requirements.

Our goal is to understand our clients’ bonding applications and their specific requirements in order to recommend the right solution, whether it is a PTFE, structural adhesive, or pressure-sensitive tape.
