What Is Lamination?
Lamination is the process of combining multiple layers of material into a single construction. In pressure-sensitive adhesive converting, this may involve laminating an adhesive tape to a foam, film, fabric, liner, or another flexible substrate.
The resulting construction can provide a combination of properties that may not be available from a single material and can be further converted into rolls, sheets, or custom die-cut components.
