5405NL 8 mils – High Modulus PTFE

5405NL is a high modulus PTFE tape made from 5 mil pure, unsupported virgin PTFE. This formulation provides higher density and tensile strength compared to standard skived PTFE tapes. Designed for high-temperature roller wrapping in die polyethylene extrusion and laminating applications, 5405NL also delivers outstanding electrical insulation due to its high dielectric strength. Its non-stick, low-friction surface offers excellent release characteristics, while the tape’s high chemical resistance, conformability, and durability make it ideal for demanding industrial environments.
