tesa® Softprint Plate Mounting Tapes
tesa® Softprint tapes are engineered with high-quality foam backings and developed to meet the evolving demands of flexographic printing. The assortment is available in two foam constructions—Classic and Flex—and comes in two thickness options: 500 μm (20 mil) and 380 μm (15 mil). Each construction is available in six different hardness levels, ranging from extra soft to extra hard, to support optimal print quality for halftone, process, and solid work.
Classic Foam Construction
Built with closed-cell PE foam combined with a PET reinforcement film. This type offers stability and easy handling, making it ideal for standard sleeve conditions and a wide range of common applications.
Flex Foam Construction
Features PE reinforcement layers aligned with the foam for greater flexibility and conformability. Best suited for critical applications, including sleeves with minor surface damage or thin-walled structures.

- SLM / TP: Medium tack adhesive for general-purpose use. Performs well under most conditions, particularly in warm or humid environments.
- STM: High tack adhesive for challenging pressroom conditions, including cold or unclean environments. Delivers strong edge resistance and bonding security.
