tesa Softprint® 52017Steelmaster – Classic

tesa® 52017 is a soft-density foam plate mounting tape designed for photopolymer plates in flexographic printing. It is equipped with a high bonding on the open side, high bonding to plate, non-increasing bonding power as well as a very cohesive adhesive structure. These characteristics help avoid plate movement and edge lifting while allowing an easy, residue-free demounting. Its foam characteristics include highly compressible foam, long lasting recovery properties as well as low thickness tolerances.

This plate mounting tape is suitable for plates thicknesses from  67-100 mils.
