High Performance

2109 is a high performance high temperature masking tape with a semi crepe paper backing and a rubber resin adhesive. It is suitable for spray painting operations with drying cycles at high temperatures up to 90°C/194°F (1 hour) or up to 110°C/230°F (30 minutes). It offers high adhesion, good moisture and humidity resistance, and good paint anchorage for most water and solvent based paints. It also has excellent holding power even when the tape is overlapped, as well as when used with masking paper and masking film, and conforms well to most irregularly shaped surfaces, with excellent adhesion on painted metal, rubber and glass. It is suitable for short term outdoor masking operations with clean removal within four days.
