Two Component Methacrylate

SAF15 Ultimate is made of methacrylate adhesives, which brings a structural adhesion without the use of a primer. It offers high adhesive strength, high elongation as well as a low linear shrinkage of about 1%. It has the capabilities to resist impacts, vibrations and peeling.

It is recommended to use this product in temperatures varying between -40 and 150°C. It is also resistant to humidity during the assembly, UV effects as well as fresh, salt or demineralized water including permanent immersion. It has also obtained the M1/F1 accreditation for fire and smoke resistance. SAF15 Ultimate can withstand aggressive environments such as alkaline, diluted acids, polar solvents, oils and more.

Range of application

The SAF15 Ultimate is recommended for the following substrates:

  • Glass 
  • Metal such as aluminum, steel and all types of alloys
  • Technical plastics such as ABS, PMMA, acrylics, PVC, polycarbonate
  • Laminated glass/ resin; polyester ( including DCPD), vinyl ester, epoxy with or without gel coat, as well as SMC/BMC. 
  • Tender or stiff wood like teak,

Application

Optimum qualities are obtained at room temperature, ideally between 18°C and 28°C without post-curing.

  • Recommended Adhesive Gun : DM2X400
  • Mixers :  ADH_M5.4/16 – ADH_MFX1318 – ADH_MFX1018

Packaging

The SAF15 Ultimate adhesive is available in 50mL and 490mL side by side cartridges, 20L pails or 200L drums.

  • SAF15 Ultimate 50ml cartridges require the use of ADH_M5.4/16 mixers.
  • SAF15 Ultimate 490mL cartridges require the use of ADH_MFX1318 or ADH_MFX1018 mixers.
