PTFE Impregnated Fiberglass Tapes

PTFE impregnated fiberglass tapes are made of fiberglass fabric tightly woven from fiberglass fibers coated with PTFE, better known as Teflon. Dimensional stability is provided by the fiberglass cloth, while the extra-heavy coat of PTFE provides a slippery, anti-friction, quick-release, surface. These tapes are non-toxic, odourless, and tasteless making it ideal for food processing, packaging and handling.

PTFE tapes come with standard or premium fiberglass fabric with silicone or acrylic adhesive, with or without peel-off liner.
• Silicone adhesive is chemically resistant, easily removed, and suitable for use in extreme temperatures.
• Acrylic adhesive is also chemical resistant and is normally used in moderate-temperature applications.

PTFE impregnated fiberglass tapes are available in thickness ranging from 3mm to 14mm with resistance to high temperatures up to 500° F (260° C).

Liner provides easy application and the ability to die-cut.
