60400 is a bio-based packaging tape consisting of a printable polylactide acid (PLA) backing and a natural rubber and natural resin-based adhesive. PLA is 100% made from renewable feedstocks such as corn starch, tapioca roots or sugar cane, and this sustainable choice of backing means the tape is produced with 98% bio-carbon content and lower CO2 emissions compared to other standard packaging tapes. The tape can be used with manual and automatic tape dispensers, and its robust backing and strong adhesion allow for excellent performance on recycled cardboard.
